Deluxe Pack: Mega (B4b) — Expansion, Trailer, Events and Upcoming Updates

Deluxe Pack: Mega (B4b) is an upcoming expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket, scheduled to be released on September 30.

Unlike regular expansions, this set will feature only reprints of cards previously released throughout the B series, covering sets from Mega Rising through Ruler of the Skies. Some of these returning cards will also feature new artwork.

The Parallel Foil rarity will also make a comeback, appearing on several cards from the lower rarity tiers.

Each Deluxe Pack: Mega booster pack will contain 4 cards, with at least one card guaranteed to be of a higher rarity or above.

Trailer

The official trailer showcases several cards included in the expansion while also teasing some of the updates and events planned for the coming weeks.

Upcoming content and updates

A major batch of updates is expected to arrive at the end of October, shortly before the release of the next major expansion.

Deck recipes and rental deck changes

• A new Community Decks feature will allow players to search for public decks shared by other players. These decks can be copied as long as you own the required cards.
• The current Rental Decks and Themed Deck Recipes will be removed. Missions associated with these decks will also be discontinued.
• Players will be able to rent decks containing cards from the latest booster packs and use them without restrictions in both Solo and Versus Battles.

Step-up Battles changes

• Step-up Battles will be redesigned into a progressive experience featuring multiple stages.
• The current Step-up Battles will be discontinued. Players should complete any remaining battles and rewards before the existing version is removed.

New Premium Promo card

The Promo B Pikachu will leave the Premium Shop on November 1 at 6:00 AM UTC. A new promotional card is expected to replace it.

The Release Celebration: Poké Gold discounted bundles will also be removed from the Poké Gold Shop.

New events

Several events are scheduled throughout the period, giving players the opportunity to earn exclusive cards, cosmetics, accessories and additional rewards.

Parallel Foil Cards Mass Outbreak Wonder Pick Event

Period: late September through early October.

This special Wonder Pick event returns with a focus on Parallel Foil cards. These cards will be available through both Bonus Picks and Rare Picks.

Selected event missions will also reward players with Shop Tickets.

Ranked Match Season 18 (B4b)

Period: mid-October through late October.

During this Ranked Match season, the winning streak bonus will be expanded. Instead of the previous maximum of 5 consecutive wins, bonuses will extend up to 10 consecutive victories.

Players will also not lose Rank Points after losing a match, and rank demotion will be disabled for the duration of the season.

Mega Garchomp ex Drop Event

Period: mid-October through late October.

This Drop Event will reward players with Promo B Series Vol. 13 booster packs.

Among the available cards will be an exclusive Mega Garchomp ex.

Charmander and Drampa Wonder Pick Event

Period: mid-October through late October.

This Chansey-style Wonder Pick event will give players a chance to obtain promotional versions of Charmander and Drampa.

Players will also be able to collect Skyla-themed accessories during the event.

New accessories

As part of the monthly Premium Shop update, a new collection of accessories inspired by the different forms of Mega Charizard has also been revealed.

The collection will include new binder covers and display boards.

These accessories will become available to Premium Pass subscribers starting October 1.

With the release of Deluxe Pack: Mega (B4b), Pokémon TCG Pocket will receive not only a new collection of returning cards, but also several important changes to decks, battles, events and rewards throughout October.
